My name is Greig Richardson and I work as the GIS/mapping consultant for Benchmarq Ltd, a UK Reseller of AutoCAD Map 3D and Autodesk Mapguide. Our focus is not just to sell the software, but to offer a broad range of support and industry expertise to help companies to properly use the software they have purchased – with a focus on ensuring users get the most out of the investment. Feel free to visit our website www.bmarq.co.uk
I have worked with geospatial technology for 9 years as a technical specialist for a number of major software vendors and suppliers in the industry, and have detailed knowledge of other GIS applications including ESRI, MapInfo, Cadcorp and Smallworld. My aim with this blog is to offer tips, tricks and my opinion on Autodesk geospatial products to try and assist organisations in bridging the CAD and GIS gap, enabling users to get more from their data and projects.
I am always happy to hear from anyone that has any thoughts, opinions, problems or solutions on CAD or GIS software. Feel free to leave a comment or contact me at greig.richardson@bmarq.co.uk
